Australia batter Mitch Owen could not quite believe his luck when Corbin Bosch's delivery hit his stumps but did not dislodge the bails in a moment of remarkable drama on Tuesday.
Bosch looked on in disbelief, having bowled what appeared to be a perfect delivery at a thunderous 140.7kph.
The stumps trembled slightly from the ball's impact and the Zing lights flashed. However, the bails remained firmly in place.
Players on both sides could not believe their eyes as the Australian batter was spared from dismissal at Darwin's Marrara Oval.
"That's cannoned into the stumps, everything's lit up, and the bails have not been dislodged," commentator Mark Howard said in disbelief on TNT Sports commentary.
"That should be out," added co-commentator Mark Waugh.

"Hit the stumps hard," they continued. "It was the lights, did they go in the air? Bounced up, bounced in. That's a bit stiff for Bosch... that's ridiculous. 'Do I have to hit your stumps mate?' Yes!"
The extraordinary incident happened as Australia attempted to chase down South Africa's total of 218 in the second of their three-match T20 series.
Dewald Brevis was named Player of the Match for his unbeaten 125 from 56 balls, massively boosting the visitors' score.
The South African, 22, reached his stunning century from just 41 deliveries, hitting 12 fours and eight sixes in the process. It was his first international hundred, and the second-fastest in the country's T20 history.
Brevis and his team-mates ultimately proved too much for the hosts, who were eventually bowled out for 165, putting an end to their nine-game winning streak.
The 53-run victory puts South Africa firmly back in the series, now level at 1-1 following Australia's 17-run win in the opening match on Sunday, when their 178 beat the visitors' 161.
That encounter included another magical moment for Australia's Glenn Maxwell, who produced a stunning catch to wow the onlooking spectators.
Maxwell, 36, jumped over the boundary to take the ball, threw it back up, before springing back inside the rope to complete the catch.
"Only Maxwell can do it, stepped out of the ground, tossed it back. It looks easy, but that is not. Maxwell is a star," marvelled commentator Howard.
The two sides will lock horns again this Saturday, August 16 for the deciding clash, which will be live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
