PERTH, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Australia declared their first innings closed at 662 for nine after lunch on day four of the third Ashes test on Sunday, taking a 259-run lead over England.

Steve Smith top-scored for the hosts with 239, with James Anderson taking 4-116 for England.

Australia lead the five-match series 2-0.
