England Lions will be in pink-ball action when they face a Prime Minister's XI in Canberra.

The Lions team will not include any of the players involved in the crushing defeat to Australia in the first Test of the NRMA Insurance men’s Ashes series.

Bowlers Josh Tongue and Matthew Potts are set to feature along with batter Jacob Bethell.

However, the likes of Zak Crawley, who produced a six-ball duck and five-ball duck in Perth, will not get any further time in the middle.

England have instead scheduled extra training sessions ahead of the second Test in Brisbane.

The second Test of the Ashes is a day-night match in Brisbane starting on December 4, live on TNT Sports and discovery+.

Before that, the Manuka Oval in Canberra is the setting for the day-night warm-up encounter.
