England endured an awful start to their pursuit of a first Ashes victory down under in 15 years, with Australia needing just two days to wrap up the win in Perth.
The pace of play was quick in Brisbane, with Joe Root making his first Test ton in Australia as England made 334.
In reply, Australia posted over 500 and then ransacked the tourists' batting line-up as they coasted to an eight-wicket win.
