The Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games comes to a conclusion on Sunday evening after 11 days of sporting excellence and drama. Australia finished top of the medal table with a remarkable 70 golds, 41 more than second-placed England.

As with the Opening Ceremony, the celebration will take place at the Hydro arena in Glasgow.
The Closing Ceremony will shine the spotlight on the medal-winning athletes of the 2026 Games, as well as celebrating the work done by volunteers.
There will be live performances from some big-name musical acts as the curtain closes on a memorable event.
The Closing Ceremony will also see the official handover to the 24th edition of the Commonwealth Games, which will take place in Ahmedabad, India in 2030.

The Closing Ceremony can be watched live on TNT Sports and HBO Max, with coverage starting at 19:30 UK time.

When does the Closing Ceremony begin?
The Glasgow 2026 Closing Ceremony begins at 21:00 BST.
Who is performing at the Closing Ceremony?
Just like in the Opening Ceremony, some huge Scottish acts will take centre stage at the Hydro.

Simple Minds, BEMZ, Cammy Barnes and Sandi Thom will all be performing, while Australian singer Delta Goodrem is also set to entertain fans for the third time at a Commonwealth Games ceremony.
There will also be a showcase of performances from Indian artists Shankar Mahadevan and Rashmika Mandanna after the handover to the 2030 Games.

Who are the flagbearers for the Closing Ceremony?
Para powerlifter Mark Swan, who won the first gold medal of the Games, has been selected as Team England's flagbearer for the Closing Ceremony.
"What a fantastic opportunity it is, I'm absolutely over the moon," he said. "I feel a big sense of pride in that opportunity. I want to say a big thank you and go and have some fun.
"The impact the Games have had on Team England has been absolutely phenomenal, the energy in the hotel at our prep camp was sky high and we were ready.
"The people of Glasgow have done an absolutely fantastic job, the effort they have put in is top class and it's massively appreciated.
"It's does not go unnoticed, the work done behind the scenes. I speak on behalf of all the athletes and all the staff, we're very appreciative and overwhelmed by the support.
"We want to say a huge thank you."
Emma Finucane, after making history with four gold medals at Glasgow 2026, will carry the Welsh flag at the Closing Ceremony.
For Team Scotland, Reuben Ward will have the honour of being flagbearer on home soil having won gold in Artistic Gymnastics.
