Tyson Fury exclusive: 'Gypsy King' vows to ‘destroy’ Oleksandr Usyk, predicts ‘good old-fashioned hiding’

Tyson Fury believes he will "smash this f***er's face right in" when he gets back into the ring with Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday night, but fears "that bad of a beating" could mean the Ukrainian will shy away from a trilogy. Usyk v Fury 2 takes place on December 21 – live on TNT Sports Box Office – and Fury insisted he will fight again with a third bout with Usyk on the cards.

Tyson Fury has insisted that he will "destroy" Oleksandr Usyk in Saturday’s rematch but feels a "good old-fashioned hiding" could risk a trilogy bout with the Ukrainian.
Fury will look to avenge his split-decision defeat against Usyk in May when the pair meet for a highly anticipated rematch in Riyadh on Saturday, December 21 – live on TNT Sports Box Office.
Despite suffering the first defeat of his career in their first fight, Fury has no interest in becoming the undisputed heavyweight champion, with just one goal in mind.
"The mission has never been undisputed. It’s never been my mission. It’s been other people’s missions," Fury told TNT Sports.
"My mission is to smash this f***er's face right in on Saturday night. There’s no chance he can beat me. None.
"I ain’t got a cut this time that I’m nursing. Yeah [I can spar], I can do everything now. I’ve never been as confident in my life of smashing a f***er's face in than doing it to him on Saturday.
"Even at 36, when people think he’s f***ed, he will rise like a phoenix from the ashes. I’m going to destroy this f***er on Saturday night, you watch.
"Watch me go to work on Saturday night on him. You watch it."
Fury insisted that revenge was not his motivation heading into the fight.
"It’s just me smashing his face in, that’s it and that’s all it will ever be," he added. "Nothing more, nothing less than a good old-fashioned hiding."
The 36-year-old was adamant that his time in the ring would go on no matter the result against Usyk, with ‘The Gypsy King’ keen on a trilogy fight with the Ukrainian like "all great dance partners" have done in the past.
"No, definitely not. No way. Not in a million years will I walk away after this. No way," Fury responded when asked if the upcoming bout could be his last.
"What I’m going to do to him, it’s going to be that bad of a beating on Saturday night, he ain’t going to want to have a trilogy.
"And I’m hoping there’s going to be a trilogy, because all great dance partners have trilogies. Facts. But what I’m going to do to him, he won’t want a trilogy."

'All great dance partners have trilogies' - Fury eyes third Usyk bout, rules out retirement

Fury is preparing for his 37th professional fight, with just one loss and one draw on his record accompanied by 34 victories.
With no plans to retire, Fury can continue to do what he "loves" for a few more years yet.
"I enjoy it, that’s the thing," he said when discussing the brutal and long training camps leading up to fights.
"I’ve done it for so long now. I’ve found the most comfortable position in the most uncomfortable environment and I’m happy in there. I’m happy at that moment and it’s brilliant for me."
He added: "I could go away for 20 years, I don’t know why, it’s not because I don’t miss my family, but if I’ve got a mission to do. I want to achieve it, I want to accomplish it.
"And I don’t miss them, because I’ve taken myself out of that environment, like an addiction and trying to get away from that."
