THANKS FOR FOLLOWING THE ACTION WITH US TONIGHT

We will be back on TNT Sports and discovery+ for the bill topped by Liam Davies-Shabaz Masoud on November 2 - and of course we are just a couple of months away from the oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury rematch on TNT Sports Box Office.

GILLEY STOPS McGANN IN ROUND 4!

A right hand jolted McGann and then Gilley went through the gears landing uppercuts against his opponent on the ropes. McGann kept his feet but to his detriment as he shipped more shots and two right hands had him bent over with his head close to the canvas and the referee stopped the contest.

GILLEY-McGANN: ROUND 3

Good recovery from McGann in this round. Landing his own jabs and following it up with right hands of his own. He takes the round.

GILLEY-McGANN: ROUND 2

McGann goes down from a one-two combination straight down the middle!
McGann is only throwing single shots, allowing Gilley to time off of it and land his combinations. Credit to McGann he ended the round throwing shots against Gilley on the rope but they did not hurt the champ.

GILLEY-McGANN: ROUND 1

A competitive round. Gilley takes it landing a few big right hands, but McGann has some success with his jab also.

MAIN EVENT IS UPON US...

'Magic Man' Sam Gilley comes into the ring to Red Hot Chilli Peppers...but don't judge him for that.

GILLEY'S CELEBRITY FRIEND IS NERVOUS

BARNEY-SMITH STOPS RAYO IN ROUND 2!

A sickening body shot ends the contest in the favour of Sugar Boy Roy. It is a shot he lands so well, following up his southpaw one-twos.

BARNEY-SMITH-RAYO: ROUND 1

Barney-Smith totally outclassing his opponent. You wonder the fighters Rayo came up against to get his record. Immediately, Barney-Smith lands a one-two as Rayo over-extends himself. He lands a number of body shots during the round and it is unlikely it will last too long.

ROYSTON BARNEY-SMITH NEXT...

A showcase for the exciting super featherweight. He faces Columbian Carlos Rayo (13-1, 7 KOs) who looks decent on paper. Records are for djs and all that but it will be interesting how far he tests Sugar Boy Roy (11-0, 5 KOs).

I'M DOING WHAT GEORGE FOREMAN DID - WEBB

"You have to go to the bottom to go back to the top and that's what I'm doing," a jubilant Webb said on TNT Sports.
"I studied George Foreman and I'm doing what he did."

WEBB STOPS BENNETT IN ROUND 7!

The corner pull Bennett out after he spat out his gumshield. He was throwing nothing back and just getting caught with big shots. A good call from the corner. What a comeback at the age of 37, after three years out of the ring.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 7

Bennett has to hold on as Webb lands a flurry in the middle of the round and then in the closing moments of the round the younger fighter wobbles from side to side of the ring, somehow staying on his feet as Webb launches huge haymakers.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 6

Bennett is the fighter tiring more, with Webb landing more and building a lead in this untidy fight.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 5

The pace is slowing but Webb lands the telling blows, twice hurting Bennett with right hands.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 4

A tight round and Webb comes out for the fifth round for the first time in his career. Neither looks like will be confident taking the fight into the later stages.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 3

The slow pace is allowing Webb to grow in confidence and he lands glancing shots with either hand in the closing stages of the round to take the ten points.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 2

Bennett hasd to be careful. He has been clumsy coming into range and is tagged on more than one occasion. One round apiece.

BENNETT-WEBB: ROUND 1

Bennett lands the bigger shots forcing his veteran opponent to sag back into the ropes.

CO-MAIN EVENT UP NEXT

Nick Webb takes on Courtney Bennett for the Southern Area Heavyweight title.

VOLKOVS WINS ON POINTS!

He takes the contest 79-73. Even further apart than I had it, but the right man got his arm raised. Fletcher suffers his first professional loss.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 8

Hard to do anything but give this round and the fight to the Latvian. You hope he is not denied it. He has earned it. In this round once more forcing the fight and landing in close with hooks and uppercuts.was \a

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 7

Volkovs dominant in the round, landing shots on Fletcher as the southpaw retreated to the ropes, with little coming back in response. Fletcher does land a good left hand on the bell.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 6

They start off both swinging with big shots but neither land. Thereafter neither fighter is especially dominant. Fletcher lands a good powerful jab, but Volkovs is working harder inside. This fight could be level going into the last two.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 5

Fletcher lands a couple of good left hands when Volkovs comes in, leading to the Latvian holding in close. It is enough to dampen Volkovs' enthusiasm and win the round but is not followed up with much else.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 4

Volkovs is really growing in confidence, landing a number of uppercuts and straight rights, with Fletcher throwing less and less to keep him off.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 3

Volkovs takes this round for me. Fletcher neglects his jab and his opponent lands hooks in close to the body and head.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 2

It is a good contest. Fletcher is trying to set Volkovs with right hooks or straight lefts as he comes in but his opponent's head movement is good and the Brit does not land anything flush.

FLETCHER-VOLKOVS: ROUND 1

Fletcher letting Volkovs come forward and looking to catch him with vicious-looking southpaw jabs, but none stinging his Balkan opponent yet.

TOMMY FLETCHER UP NEXT...

A 6'7" southpaw who has stopped six of his last eight opponents.

KING WINS ON POINTS!

Surprisingly the referee scores the fight 39-37, but King wins anyway and is now 3-0-1 (1 KO).

KING-PROTKUNAS: ROUND 4

King getting better as fight goes on, doubling up the jab and combining with a right cross. A good workout, albeit the result was never in doubt.

KING-PROTKUNAS: ROUND 3

He is growing in confidence King, landing a good one-two and then follows with a body shot. He gets caught with a couple of shots when he stays too long in range, but boxes the rest of the round comfortably.

KING-PROTKUNAS: ROUND 2

The Estonian opponent showes signs of causing danger when they get in close, but for the most part King keeps the fight at range.

KING-PROTKUNAS: ROUND 1

King controlling the fight at long range with his jab. Not taking any chances here.

SAM KING NEXT...

He drew his third fight last time out and is looking to get back to winning ways against his Estonian opponent.
