Errol Spence Jr is predicting “destruction” and an “all-out war” when he faces Terence Crawford in a blockbuster undisputed welterweight showdown in Las Vegas.
Both boxers hold undefeated records - Spence is 28-0 with 22 knockouts and Crawford is 39-0 with 30 KOs.
There will be four belts on the line in a fight that has been several years in the making and could be the biggest in boxing in 2023.
It will be the first PPV event broadcast on TNT Sports Box Office. TNT Sports Box Office offers both subscribers and non-subscribers pay-per-view access to some of the most exciting events in the calendar, with the Spence v Crawford fight available to buy here.
“This is what everybody clamours over, the best fight in the biz,” said Spence on All Access on Showtime Sports ahead of the clash on July 29 at the T-Mobile Arena.
“Terence Crawford, 39-0, me, 28-0. He has a title, I have three, and this is for the undisputed. I feel like this is a legacy fight.
“This is an old school fight. This is what my dad used to talk to me about when he used to watch fights 40 years ago when you had Tommy Hearns and Ray Leonard and a lot of the greats. People adored them because they were really competitive fighters, blood and guts.
“Terence Crawford has that dog mentality, I have that dog mentality, you put us together and you will have an all-out war, an action-packed fight, just like the greats.
“Come July 29 I expect him to have nothing but destruction on his mind, and that’s the same for me, I have nothing but destruction on my mind.”
Spence will be putting his IBF, WBA and WBC belts on the line, while Crawford is the current WBO champion.
Both come into the fight having not been in the ring in 2023.
Crawford’s last fight was in November – a sixth-round win over David Avanesyan – while Spence has not fought since his 10th-round win over Yordenis Ugas in April 2022.
Crawford says he is determined to prove he is the “best fighter in the world” in the 13th unification bout in history at welterweight level.
“This is one of those fights that will be talked about forever.

“I am happy the fight is here but I am not satisfied until my hand is raised on July 29.
“I think it’s going to be a hell of a fight. This is my moment to shine and I am prepared to do whatever I have to do.
“This is the fight that everybody has been yearning for years, one of the biggest fights in the past decade.
“This is a fight I have been wanting for a long time, this is a fight a lot of people have said I have been running from. We are here now and I am going to show the world that I am the best fighter in the world.”
