Deontay Wilder has added further fuel to the fire surrounding speculation over a proposed heavyweight showdown against Anthony Joshua. Wilder insists he is not looking past Parker, but stated his aim to fight the Brit in the near future.

Deontay Wilder is ready to face Anthony Joshua after his ‘Day of Reckoning’ showdown with Joseph Parker, live on TNT Sports Box Office.
Wilder and Joshua are both on the ‘Day of Reckoning’ co-main events against Joseph Parker and Otto Wallin respectively.
It only appears to be a matter of time until a fight with Joshua is confirmed, and the 38-year-old believes this will take place should he beat Parker and the Brit overcomes Wallin.
"When I win against Parker and if Joshua beats Otto Wallin, then it's on baby,” he exclusively told TNT Sports.
Much of the pre-fight build-up focused on a potential bout between Wilder and Joshua which the American admits has put him under added pressure ahead of the weekend.
"I'm taking the biggest risk because they're looking past Parker - but I'm not,” Wilder told Carl Frampton.
"Joshua is the biggest fight in comeback sport, period. When people talk to me, the main thing they talk about is me and him, all the time.
"It applies pressure because the world wants to see [it]."

The former WBC world title holder has blamed Joshua and Matchroom Boxing for the fight not taking place already.
Wilder insists Joshua has lacked the courage to step into the ring with him until now.

"Money hasn't been the issue. It comes with not having the heart, the will, the courage to step in the ring,” Wilder told BBC Sport.
"I don't really just blame it on Joshua. I blame it on his handlers, on his promotion and his management. Because let's face it Joshua is the cash cow of the company.
"Without him, no money is drawn into Matchroom. We all know that. Not only do I feel Joshua is intimidated by me, but I feel his promoter is as well. That's why the fight hasn't happened."
