Williams' last stand

Returning from bitter defeats during his last two outings against bitter rivals Matt Skelton and Audley Harrison, the intimidating Williams is putting everything he has into this last crack at the top level. The "Brixton Bomber" plans to attack Gammer with every ounce of his being.

"Scott Gammer has underestimated me, but I will prove that I am not finished yet," said the seething heavyweight. "Unlike my last few fights, I am in very good shape and I am motivated." Williams has never been short on determination, as evidenced by his refusal to quit during a bout in which he dislocated his right shoulder in the early going, only to knockout his opponent six rounds later with a sizzling left hand.But the seasoned campaigner will have to mount and sustain a furious charge if he is to overcome the younger Gammer, a surprisingly fast handed, six foot two inch, 235 lb battler who is clearly gunning for the opportunity to make a name for himself the expense of Williams."Gammer will be up for this fight in front of his home crowd, but this is my last chance and that makes a big difference," said Williams. "I will win this fight and then I will be looking for revenge against Skelton and Harrison."The fight takes place in Neath, Wales on March 2nd.
