Dunne Retains Title In Dub

Bernard Dunne retained his European super-bantamweight crown with a third round stoppage win over Yersin Jailauov at The Point in Dublin.

The 27-year-old champion, who is undefeated as a pro(23-0), was always in control of the fight, before stepping up a gear in the third round to floor the Kazakhstan born boxer.

Jailauov managed to beat the referee"s count and bravely carried on but was rescued after 1.57 of the round following a barrage of unanswered punches.
