Agit Kabayel reacts to stunning win over Arslanbek Makhmudov at 'Day of Reckoning' - ‘I shocked the world’

Agit Kabayel continued what has been a brilliant night of boxing on the 'Day of Reckoning' card, as the German took only four rounds to stop the reigning European champion Arslanbek Makhmudov. Kabayel proved the doubters wrong with a stunning display and has now surely put himself in contention for a big heavyweight title fight in the not-too-distant future.

Agit Kabayel believes he has shocked the world with his performance against Arslanbek Makhmudov, after stopping the Russian in the fourth round at the 'Day of Reckoning'.
Some devastating body shots ultimately curtailed Makhmudov's evening, as the Russian simply could not deal with Kabayel's immense power, dubbing himself as the 'Liver King'.
“I gave my best, won the fight. I've been training for this and I shocked the world maybe?," he said in his ringside interview.
“If you spoke to 10 guys, maybe nine of them would have said I wouldn’t win.
“My movement was the game plan, using the body shots and then go for the head after that - the Liver King!”
The victory was all the more impressive given that Kabayel had only fought seven times in the previous six years, and will now be mentioned in the conversation for a heavyweight fight against the likes of Tyson Fury or Oleksandr Usyk.
Kabayel would not be drawn on who he would like to face next, but insists that he will be prepared for whatever is in store.
“I won the fight I'm happy; the training camp is finished and the fight is finished.
“I don't know [what will happen next] but if you give me the next fight I'll be ready; I'll come for everything.”
