MEN'S 100M
Reigning World Champion Kim Collins (pictured) has struggled for form and only made it through the heats as a fastest loser, although there will be a new breed of Caribbean athletes chasing Gatlin to the death.
Leonard Scott of the USA and Frenchman Ronald Pognon (on the left) were the quickest in qualifying and also keep an eye out for up-and-coming Ghanaian Aziz Zakari and Britain's Jason Gardener...
MEN'S DISCUS: LITHUANIAN CLEAR FAVOURITE
Lithuanian reigning World & Olympic champion Virgilijus Alekna cruised into the final of the Discus, but can he retain his title? Also on Sunday the men's 100m and women's heptathlon reach their climaxes, while Tatyana Lebedeva is the favourite to retain her Triple Jump crown.
Olympic silver & bronze medallists Zoltan Koevago (Hungary) and Aleksander Tammert (Estonia) also made the final, but there will also be a strong challenge from Germany's Lars Riedel and Gerd Kanter of Estonia.
WOMEN'S TRIPLE: LEBEDEVA FAVOURITEAFTER ETONE PULLS OUT
Reigning champion Tatyana Lebedeva only did just enough to qualify for the final but has been dominating the European circuit for the whole of this season, one of only two athletes remaining in the Golden League prize hunt.
The World Indoor record holder is also the only woman in the field to have bettered 15m this year and with Olympic champ Françoise Mbango Etone withdrawing injured the Russian has a great chance to retain her title. Don't discount Cuban veteran Yamile Aldama though, who's been pushing Lebedeva all season...
