Great Britain's Daryll Neita took second spot behind USA’s Brittany Brown in the women’s 200m in Brussels at the season finale of the Diamond League.
Second spot is an improvement on the fifth place she scored at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games last month, and she was a quarter of a second behind Brown’s winning time of 22.20s.
For Brown, it was her first Diamond League title, with another American, Anavia Battle, in third spot.
Sha’Carri Richardson had pulled out after coming in eighth in the 100m event on Friday.
In the women’s pole vault, Molly Caudery fell short of a podium place, reaching 4.80m, as Olympic champion Nina Kennedy won with 4.88m.
Faith Kipyegon of Kenya took the win in the women’s 1500m, extending her winning streak in the Diamond League to four consecutive titles, and fifth over the course of her career so far.
Her time of 3:54.75 was enough to keep Ethiopian rival Diribe Welteji at bay, and also represented a meeting record.
Two British athletes, Georgia Bell and Melissa Courtney-Bryant, came seventh and ninth respectively.
The last event of the night was won by Femke Bol. The Olympic bronze medal winner took her fourth consecutive Diamond League title in the women's 400m hurdles.
In the men’s 200m, Letsile Tebogo failed to retain his title, ending his winning streak at four consecutive Diamond Leagues, with America’s Kenny Bednarek winning with a time of 19.67, 0.13s clear of Tebogo. Dominican Republic’s Alexander Ogando was third, three-hundredths of a second under the 20-second threshold.
Reflecting on his loss, Tebogo said: “I wanted to win the Diamond Trophy, but it has been a rollercoaster after the Olympics.
“So it wasn't easy to keep the focus. The cameras are more on me now, but I have to focus on myself."

Italy’s Gianmarco Tamberi endured a difficult build-up to the Paris Games as he dealt with various fitness concerns, and finished a disappointing 11th in France, but he took victory on Saturday night in the men’s high jump.
His jump of 2.34m pushed Oleh Doroshchuk of Ukraine into second, and South Korean Sanghyeok Woo was third.
In the men's 400m hurdles, Alison Dos Santos took his second title in three years, as he won with a time of 47.93.
Dos Santos said after his win: “I'm taking my second Diamond Trophy home tonight and that's a great accomplishment. I've fully recovered from a serious injury and I stayed healthy during this season."
Italy's Leonardo Fabbri won his first Diamond League title when he threw an Italian record of 22.98m in the men's shot put.
Femke Bol rounded out the season with victory in the women's 400m hurdles, clocking a time of 52.45.
