There was an Austrian one-two on the podium at Val Gardena on Friday as Vincent Kriechmayr took victory in the Super G at the FIS World Cup ahead of compatriot Daniel Hemetsberger. Defending champion Marco Odermatt surprisingly finished down in third, with just 0.03 seconds separating the top three and 0.01 between Hemetsberger and Odermatt.
