‘Major takes the lead!’ – Great Britain's Billy Major earns career-best finish in Gurgl with big second run

Great Britain’s Billy Major had a day to remember in Gurgl as he finished 16th to kick off his season in promisinig fashion. Major’s second run had him in the provisional lead and ultimately proved enough to give him a career-best finish, beating his previous record of 18th. Fellow Brit Dave Ryding had a superb day in Austria, finishing just outside the podium spots in fourth.
