JJ Gabriel set for Real Madrid

Real Madrid are reportedly set to win the race to sign Manchester United’s 16-year-old forward JJ Gabriel.
The teenager remains registered at United but has not been at the club since September, when he opted to look elsewhere for senior football.
His availability alerted the likes of Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain, but Real Madrid now appear to have won the race for the youngster.
According to Real Madrid correspondent Ben Fernandes Santos, Gabriel is already training in Madrid, with the club tying up ”loose ends” ahead of confirming his arrival.
”JJ Gabriel is already training in Madrid”, Santos claimed on X. ”The teenager is waiting for his signing with Real Madrid to be finalised, with only a few loose ends pending. Decisive days are ahead.”

Maza dreams of PSG

Speaking to Sky Sports Germany, Ibrahim Maza admitted he dreamed of one day playing for a club like PSG, while also name-checking Arsenal.
Maza, 20, has claimed three goals and three assists in his 10 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen this term.
”Of course, it would be a huge dream to play for such a big club one day,” Maza said. ”I think we all know what a huge club Paris is.
”They are one of the best clubs in the world, alongside Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal. Playing for a club like that is something not only I am working towards, but many other footballers as well.”

Mac Allister on Liverpool future: ‘Anything can happen’

Speaking to the Los Edul podcast, Alexis Mac Allister remained coy on his Liverpool future, admitting that while he wanted to continue at the club, ”anything can happen”.
He added that the club’s decision not to renew his contract over the summer had been ”painful”.
”Everything can happen before I am a free agent,” the Argentina midfielder said.
”We are in a situation where I have a year and a half left on my contract, where last season it was conveyed to me that the club’s idea was not to renew my contract, at least for now.
”And well, obviously it was a painful situation. I still had time or still have time left at this club, which is what I want most, to continue here.
”The reality is that the manager has changed, the sporting director has changed, and new investors are coming into the club.
”So I think today I am in a position where anything can happen, and well, we will see in the future. I am happy here.”

Ait-Nouri’s entourage eye Man City exit

Rayan Ait-Nouri’s entourage have told L’Equipe that the 25-year-old will look to leave Manchester City in the January transfer window.
Ait-Nouri has found opportunities limited since joining City from Wolverhampton Wanderers in the summer of 2025. He has played just four games this term, amounting to 168 minutes of football.
His entourage told L’Equipe that Ait-Nouri ”retains good value” in England, suggesting there could be interest from the Premier League and elsewhere.
They added: ”We have to find the best solution with Manchester City. He can’t remain in a situation where his talent is wasted.”
