There was chaos in Istanbul in the Champions League on Tuesday night as Baris Yilmaz, Deniz Undav and Chris Fuhrich came together to create a scene where Galatasaray and Vfb Stuttgart players all decided to "pile in" for a confrontation.

The two teams were playing the Champions League in the league format stage, with the home side already two goals ahead.
Aleksey Batrakov had scored twice, giving Galatasaray a 2-0 lead, and they looked set for three points.
However, tempers threatened to boil over in the match after an unexpected confrontation with around 10 minutes of the first half remaining.
Yilmaz looked to launch a counterattack from within his half as he moved from outside the box towards the right wing, with space opening up in front of him.
However, Stuttgart’s Furhrich was alive to the danger and came across to head off his run.
The German side’s No. 10 tussled with Yilmaz as the two contested control of the ball, and Fuhrich appeared to give the Turkish player a small shove.

After a few seconds of being roughed up in the exchange, Yilmaz decided to respond and swung Fuhrich into the ground in retaliation, bringing most of the two benches and the two sides into a confrontation.
Dan O'Hagan on commentary duty observed: "That's going to carry on here, that little pushing and shoving match. Now it all boils over.
"Fuhrich and Baris Yilmaz, the first two players. Then they all got involved in it. What's been seen by the officials here, both on the field and the off-field monitors?
"Major first-half flash point. What's going to happen here then from the referee? Undav gets involved, that all kicks off.
"Team-mates try to have their say and get involved as well. Chaos at this stage. Undav pusing, smiling. They all pile in."
The intervention from Undav, the Stuttgart player, was the only truly significant intervention, with other coaching staff and players from both teams looking to calm the atmosphere down.
For Stuttgart, they could ill afford to go down to 10 men when they were trailing by two goals and did not want a numerical disadvantage on top of a scoreboard deficit.

The home side did not want to lose Yilmaz, one of their most effective attacking presences on the pitch for the match.
Galatasaray eventually sealed a 2-0 victory, leaving them on six points after four games.
