The on-loan Manchester City winger was absent for a second game in a row as The Toffees claimed a 1-0 win over Newcastle United at St. James' Park.
Grealish was initially left out of Everton's squad for their win in the Carabao Cup last week - also against Newcastle - for disciplinary reasons.
Reports suggest that an unauthorised absence from training was behind the punishment, which saw the 31-year-old also sit out Monday's league win.
Thierno Barry scored the winner in Newcastle to send Moyes' side seventh, but the manager gave little away at full-time when asked about the matter.
"He's unavailable at the moment and we will make a decision with the club when we think that availability comes back," Moyes told the BBC.
"All I'm giving out is that he is unavailable at the moment," the Scot added when asked if it was fitness related.
Moyes said he "can’t comment" on whether the disciplinary issue was over, but did offer an olive branch when asked if there was a way back for Grealish at Everton.
"Of course there is," said Moyes.
Everton's next game is at home to Coventry City on Friday, where victory could push the Merseysiders as high as fourth.
Grealish is in his second season on loan at the Hill Dickinson Stadium after falling out of favour at City.

He scored two goals and provided six assists in 22 games for Everton in an injury-hit 2025/26 campaign, and has made eight appearances this season without registering a goal or assist.
Grealish won three Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League at City, but his contract there expires at the end of the season.
The 39-time England international has not featured for the national team for two years, his last game coming when he scored against Finland in the UEFA Nations League in October 2024.

Jaissle: Long balls not the plan
Everton's win on Tyneside increased pressure on Newcastle manager Matthias Jaissle, whose side were booed by the home support at both half-time and full-time.
Newcastle produced just two shots on target in the loss as they slumped to a fifth defeat in their last seven games.
He was left frustrated in a post-match press conference that the players had not followed his tactical instructions.
"Long balls were not the plan. It's something we need to work on," he said.
"We lack confidence. To come out of that, we need to stick together. We need to make a fast learning curve in the right direction."

Asked to comment on striker William Osula and the Dane's performance, Jaissle added: "We could not bring him into situations. We need to jump the first lines with clear balance on how we want to play football. Just playing long balls is for sure not the sign he (Osula) prefers.
"And it was not the plan; that is something you clearly need to mention. This is now the next step to clearly analyse it in-depth and ask why we could not start the game as we originally planned."
