The Red Devils could turn to Calvert-Lewin as they look to boost their attack following the injury to Benjamin Sesko.
Sesko has been ruled out for the rest of the year with a shin injury, adding to Michael Carrick's woes after a poor start to the campaign. That leaves Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo as their only options in attack.
The Sun, via The Athletic, reports that The Red Devils are considering a "shock move" for Calvert-Lewin.
"The Athletic have reported that the club are now considering a move for Calvert-Lewin, 29, to fill the void," the newspaper states. "The report has claimed United’s recruitment staff are currently trying to see if a transfer is feasible.
"United’s interest in Calvert-Lewin is nothing new as SunSport first reported that he was a target back in 2019.
"Leeds are thought to be 'protective' of Calvert-Lewin given his success at Elland Road. It is claimed that the possibility of a transfer is currently remote as the Whites want to offer him a new contract."
Estevao attracting interest
Estevao Willian is attracting interest from several Premier League and European giants, according to the Daily Mail.
The 19-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Palmeiras last summer, did not feature as The Blues were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in a penalty shootout loss to Liverpool on Wednesday.

In Chelsea’s eight Premier League fixtures so far, the Brazilian has featured as a late substitute six times, and been unused twice.
"Multiple Premier League and European rivals of Chelsea are watching the club's handling of Estevao Willian with intrigue after the Brazilian wonderkid again went unused under Xabi Alonso," states the outlet.
Estevao is tied down to a contract lasting into the 2030s with Chelsea, who consider him among their ‘untouchables’ and have looked at trying to arrange a new deal. But external sources have confided that his situation is piquing interest within Premier League and European circles.
"It is understood Estevao's limited role under Alonso is not the result of a fall-out, and purely down to tactical and technical decisions."
Chelsea monitoring Como defender Ramon
The Daily Mail also reports that Chelsea are monitoring 21-year-old defender Jacobo Ramon, who is impressing at Como under Cesc Fabregas.
The Spaniard left Real Madrid to join up with Fabregas in the summer of 2025, but he is already being linked with a move back to the Bernabeu, while Arsenal and Manchester United are also said to be interested in the centre-back.

The Mail states: "Arsenal and Manchester United have also been linked with Ramon. His situation is likewise complicated by Real Madrid retaining a 50 per cent sell-on clause in any deal for the Spain Under 21s centre-back, as well as an unspecified buy-back clause.
"Ramon played under Alonso way back in 2018-19, when the now-Chelsea manager began his coaching career within Madrid’s youth system.
"Chelsea’s interest predates Alonso’s arrival and goes back to last January, when they had Ramon on a shortlist along with Jeremy Jacquet – then of Rennes, now of Liverpool - and Marcos Senesi - then of Bournemouth, now of Tottenham."
