Henderson, 36, opened the scoring inside two minutes with a wonderful swept finish into the left of the goal from the edge of the area after being teed up by Cole Palmer.
Just moments later, Henderson found Morgan Rogers on the left of the box, and with the help of a deflection off Antonio Silva's head, the summer signing curled an effort into the far corner to double Chelsea's lead.
At just two minutes and 29 seconds, it was the quickest time that Chelsea had established a 2-0 advantage in a Premier League game, while Henderson became the second-fastest player to score and assist in a Premier League fixture, according to Opta.
Joao Pedro increased Chelsea's advantage shortly after the interval with a powerful strike from the centre of the box following some industrious work by Pedro Neto down Chelsea's left.
Evanilson reduced Bournemouth's deficit five minutes later as Moises Caicedo's clearance rebounded off him and into the net, but Joao Pedro extinguished any hopes of a comeback with his fifth league goal of the season as he poked home from close range.
Henderson rounded off his display in the 70th minute as his free-kick from 25 yards out found the top-right corner.
Xabi Alonso's side climbed to fifth after their first win in four league games, now five points behind leaders Manchester City and second-placed Arsenal, who beat Leeds United earlier on Saturday.
The result leaves Bournemouth waiting for their first league victory of the season and just one place above the relegation zone, on three points after their first six games.
Marco Rose's side will finish the round in the relegation zone if Coventry City avoid defeat against Newcastle United on Monday.

Ipswich stun Fulham with late comeback

Fulham were denied a first Premier League win of the season as Ipswich Town produced a thrilling late comeback to win 2-1 at Portman Road.
Ryan Sessegnon gave the visitors the lead 10 minutes after half-time as he fired home from the edge of the area following a Fulham corner.
However, Gary O'Neil's side equalised in the 88th minute thanks to Abdoul Ouattara's low strike from 25 yards out, and they grabbed the winner just three minutes later as captain Dara O'Shea headed home from a set-piece.
The victory has lifted Ipswich into the top half of the table, on nine points from their first six games, while Alvaro Arbeloa's men are bottom, awaiting their first win of the campaign.

Brentford maintain unbeaten start with draw at Villa

Brentford maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
Keith Andrews' side opened the scoring after just 10 minutes thanks to a powerful strike from Yehor Yarmoliuk on the edge of the area, but Nicolas Jackson drew Villa level just two minutes later with a well-taken finish.
There was another pair of quickfire goals at the opposite end of the match. John McGinn gave Unai Emery's Villa side the lead via a significant deflection off Kristoffer Ajer, but their advantage also lasted just two minutes, with Ajer making amends as he slotted home at the near post to make it 2-2.
The point leaves Brentford in fourth, having picked up 10 points from their first six fixtures, while Aston Villa sit in 14th with one win to their name this season.

De Cuyper, Hadjam score as 10-man Brighton go third

Brighton & Hove Albion survived going down to 10 men to claim a 2-0 win against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Maxim de Cuyper opened the scoring for The Seagulls in the 53rd minute as he slotted home into the bottom corner from inside the area.
The visitors were reduced to 10 men just four minutes later as summer signing Pascal Struijk was sent off following a VAR check after knocking over Wilson Isidor, who was deemed to be in on goal.
But Fabian Hurzeler's men protected their clean sheet and sealed victory as Jaouen Hadjam smashed home in stoppage time after a poor kick from Robin Roefs.
Brighton sit third after winning four of their first six games this season, and are within two points of City and Arsenal and the top of the league.
Sunderland, meanwhile, have extended their winless run in the league to four matches and are just one point above the drop zone.
