Cole Palmer has signed a new contract at Chelsea, the club announced on Saturday, keeping him in west London until 2034. The 24-year-old has started the season in fine fashion, scoring four goals and providing two assists in seven matches.

"Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I'm delighted to sign and I'm obviously very happy," Palmer said.
"Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign.
"Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too."
Palmer moved from Manchester City to Chelsea in 2023, and quickly established himself as one of the most dangerous attacking players in the Premier League.
In his debut season at Stamford Bridge, he scored 25 goals and provided 19 assists, being named Premier League Young Player of the Season and PFA Young Player of the Year as a result.
Seven of Palmer's goals that season came in back-to-back hat-tricks in the Premier League, three against Manchester United and then four against Everton.
In his second season in London, he had a hat-trick of assists against Wolverhampton Wanderers and wrote himself into the Premier League history books with the first first-half four-goal haul against Brighton & Hove Albion.
His form faulted last season, however, as he endured injury issues which limited his availability last campaign.
But he has looked back to his best this time out under new manager Xabi Alonso, forming a potent front-three alongside Morgan Rogers and Joao Pedro.
In total, he has 91 goal contributions in 138 appearances for The Blues.

Palmer has played key roles in Chelsea winning the UEFA Conference League in 2025 - providing two assists in the final - and the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup - scoring twice and registering an assist in the final against Paris Saint-Germain.
On the international stage, Palmer has 14 caps for England and has scored two goals.
One of those strikes came in the 2024 UEFA Euros final against Spain, becoming the second England player to score in a European Championship final.
Despite his club form, he has struggled to find a place in manager Thomas Tuchel's side, missing out on the 2026 FIFA World Cup and pulling out of the German's most recent squad through injury.
